New Frisch Ad Slams Boebert on Votes Against Cancer Research, Fighting Fentanyl Crisis, Clean Water, and More

Boebert Often Votes Against Majority of Republicans on Common Sense Measures to Protect Americans

WOODY CREEK, CO – In a TV ad that begins airing today, conservative businessman and candidate for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district Adam Frisch condemned his opponent Rep. Lauren Boebert for voting against the vast majority of Congress – including the vast majority of Republicans – in rejecting measures to continue cancer research, fight the fentayl crisis, prevent human trafficking, and more.

“Boebert’s voting record against cancer patients, seniors, clean water, and protecting our communities from deadly fentanyl show she simply can’t tell right from wrong,” Frisch said. “These indefensible votes, in which Boebert goes against the vast majority of her own party, make it clear that Boebert is a political extremist who can’t be trusted to serve the people of CD3. In Congress, I will work to build consensus among members of both parties to get things done for this district.”

The ad highlights the following votes:

  • Boebert voted against the TRANSPLANT Act to help individuals diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell anemia, and rare blood disorders access life-saving treatment and fund critical cancer research. Boebert was among two Republicans who opposed the bill, with 200 Republicans voting in favor.

  • Boebert voted against the Protecting Seniors from Emergency Scams Act which creates an online database allowing consumers to search for scams targeting seniors. Boebert was among eight lawmakers who opposed the bill, with 199 Republicans voting in favor.

  • Boebert voted against the STREAM Act which allows states to set aside funding for the treatment and abatement of acid mine drainage, which is the release of acidic water from abandoned coal mines. Boebert was among nine lawmakers who opposed the bill, with 180 Republicans voting in favor.

  • Boebert voted against the Fentanyl Sanctions Act - targeted sanctions legislation that would give U.S. law enforcement and sanctions officials more tools to combat the trafficking of opioids into the Unites States. Boebert was one of 14 who opposed the bill, with 193 Republicans voting in favor.

  • Boebert voted against the Frederick Douglass Trafficking Victims Prevention and Protection Reauthorization Act, critical human rights and law enforcement legislation aimed at combating human trafficking. She was one of 20 to oppose the bill, with 183 Republicans voting in favor.

Ad Script:

Lauren Boebert votes against Colorado.

She even votes against most Republicans in Congress.

Boebert was one of just two Republicans to vote against cancer research.

One of eight Republicans to vote against protecting seniors from scams.

One of only nine Republicans against protecting our water.

One of fourteen against stopping fentanyl trafficking.

And twenty against preventing human trafficking.

Lauren Boebert’s votes aren’t just extreme… they hurt people.

“I’m Adam Frisch I approve this message.”
