NEW AD: Veterans Call Out Boebert’s Record of Failing to Deliver and Voting Against Them, Say They ‘Can’t Trust Her’

Rep. Boebert Once Told Veterans “It is not my Role to Keep you Healthy”

WOODY CREEK – In a TV ad that begins airing today, conservative businessman and candidate for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district Adam Frisch condemned his opponent Rep. Lauren Boebert for saying it’s “not my role” to keep veterans healthy and for her repeated votes against veterans.

At a Montezuma County Town Hall in November 2021, Boebert told a group of veterans that “it is not my role to keep you healthy.”

“Veterans deserve dignity and respect and to be cared for after making sacrifices for our freedom” Frisch said. “Our representatives should do whatever it takes to ensure access to high quality healthcare and benefits for veterans. Unlike Boebert, I will make the care of veterans my responsibility when elected.”

The district-wide ad buy, in addition to recent national press coverage, shows the Frisch campaign gaining momentum as the election draws closer.

The ad also highlights 15 times Boebert voted against measures to expand benefits and access to services for veterans. Some of those include the Honoring our PACT Act, which expanded services to veterans with illnesses related to burn pit exposure; the Access for Veterans to Records Act which streamlines the record request process; the Protecting Moms Who Served Act which commissioned a study on the maternal health crisis among women veterans while also supporting maternal care programs for veterans; and the Restoring Hope for Mental Health and Well-Being Act, which expands mental and behavioral health treatments for veterans.

Ad Script:

They sacrificed and risked their lives for America.

I don’t want a handout,

Just the health care I was promised.

Lauren Boebert broke her word to vets.

“As your congresswoman it is not my role to keep you healthy” [Boebert speaking]

Boebert voted against veterans’ health care

And against helping vets sick from burn pits.

“It is not my role to keep you healthy.” [Boebert speaking]

Boebert turned her back on us.

You can’t trust her.

“I’m Adam Frisch and I approve this message to respect our veterans’ service.”
