NEW AD: Frisch Ad Slams Boebert for Votes Against Veterans, American Energy Independence, American Workers

District Veterans Call Out Boebert for Voting 15 Times Against Common Sense Measures to Help Vets

Woody Creek, CO – In a TV ad that begins airing today, conservative businessman and candidate for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district Adam Frisch called out incumbent Rep. Lauren Boebert for voting against the economic interests of her constituents on American jobs, energy independence, and lower drug prices. Veterans in the district called out Boebert for the 15 times she voted against policies to help vets.

“Time and again, Boebert refuses to help average families who are being crushed by high inflation and a difficult economy. She voted against American workers and refused to allow negotiation for lower prescription drug costs. She was one of only 17 lawmakers out of 435 to vote in favor of Putin and his oil barons, and against American energy independence,” said Frisch. “Lauren Boebert won’t stand up for average families in this district, but I will. When I am in Congress, I’ll put Colorado energy, Colorado water, and Colorado jobs front and center.”

The ad highlights the following votes:

  • H.R.6968 - Ending Importation of Russian Oil Act

  • Prohibits the importation of energy products from Russia following the Ukraine invasion.

  • H.R.4346 - CHIPS and Science Act

  • Boosts American semiconductor research, development, and production, ensuring U.S. leadership in the technology that forms the foundation of everything from automobiles to household appliances to defense systems.

  • H.R.5376 - Inflation Reduction Act of 2022

  • Lower prescription drug prices in Medicare through price negotiation with manufacturers and sets a yearly cap on out-of-pocket prescription drug costs for Medicare recipients.

  • Boebert has voted against 15 measures to expand benefits and access to services for veterans. Some of those include the Honoring our PACT Act, which expanded services to veterans with illnesses related to burn pit exposure; the Access for Veterans to Records Act which streamlines the record request process; the Protecting Moms Who Served Act which commissioned a study on the maternal health crisis among women veterans while also supporting maternal care programs for veterans; and the Restoring Hope for Mental Health and Well-Being Act, which expands mental and behavioral health treatments for veterans.
