ICYMI: Durango Herald, Republican Don Coram Endorse Frisch in Campaign to Beat Boebert, New Poll Shows Frisch Up 5%

Frisch Campaign for CO-3 Gaining Momentum, Nearly Doubling Boebert’s Q3 Fundraising and Winning Key Endorsements

Woody Creek, CO – The Adam Frisch campaign to oust Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District picked up key endorsements this week after massively outraising Boebert in the third quarter FEC filing, showing the Frisch campaign is closing in on the incumbent congresswoman.

On Wednesday, the Durango Herald endorsed Frisch, criticizing her votes against the interests of her constituents, including her Republican base:

“Boebert could have been true to herself, her base and produced the work required in CD3. That did not happen. To address her base directly: You can run a candidate who reflects your values and does the work to bring home the goods to our district. Boebert is not this person. Boebert voted against things that really matter in the Southwest, including funding for wildfire resilience, health care access for veterans, and provisions for water quality and to mitigate the drought. We are overdue for serious conversations about the Colorado River and water in the West. We need a rep who understands the dire need to create good jobs, bring down inflation, decrease the meteoric rise in health care costs. We need a serious person to represent CD3. That is Frisch.” – Durango Herald Editorial Board

Frisch also picked up an endorsement from Republican state Senator Don Coram of Montrose, who challenged Boebert in the 2022 Republican primary election.

Colorado Times Recorder: Boebert’s GOP Primary Opponent Endorses Democrat Adam Frisch, Chairs Group ‘Republicans for Frisch’

“In an open letter released today, state Sen. Don Coram (R-Montrose), who was defeated in April by U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s (R-CO) in Colorado’s Republican primary, endorsed Boebert’s Democratic opponent Adam Frisch, writing that Boebert “has consistently voted against legislation that would benefit the 3rd Congressional District.”

“What’s more disconcerting is that she continues to lie to voters and claims credit for things she had absolutely nothing to do with,” wrote Coram in his letter endorsing Boebert. “Bottom line, instead of working to represent the people in the 3rd CD, Lauren spends her time jet-setting around the country promoting herself and extreme rhetoric that only divides this country further. It’s disgraceful and we should expect more from our United States Representative.”

Colorado Politics: Lauren Boebert's GOP primary challenger endorses Democrat Adam Frisch in Colorado's 3rd CD

“The Republican state lawmaker who lost a primary challenge to U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert is backing the Democratic nominee for the seat.”

“Calling Boebert the "poster child" for the dangers of excessive partisanship, state Sen. Don Coram, R-Montrose, on Wednesday said that while he differs with Democrat Adam Frisch on plenty of issues, he believes the Aspen businessman can better represent the Western Slope-based 3rd Congressional District.”

Center Street PAC, a non partisan super PAC, released a new poll Thursday showing Frisch statistically tied with Boebert.

Center Street PAC: POLL: Lauren Boebert Tied With Adam Frisch in Colorado-03 Among Registered Voters, But Frisch Struggles to Raise Awareness

Center Street PAC released a new poll of the Colorado-03 congressional race, showing Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert in a statistical tie with Democratic challenger Adam Frisch. The survey revealed 45% of Colorado registered voters prefer Frisch while 40% prefer Boebert.”

On Monday, the Frisch campaign announced raising nearly $1.7 million in Q3, almost doubling Boebert’s fundraising for the same period. The average donation was $73 coming from 23,000 individuals.

Alamosa Valley Courier: “Frisch campaign contributions double what Boebert raised in third quarter”

“The Adam Frisch campaign for Colorado’s Third Congressional District announced Monday that Frisch, Democratic candidate challenging Rep. Lauren Boebert in CO-3, raised close to $1.7 million in the third quarter fundraising period. That is nearly twice the $900,000 announced by Boebert for the same period.”

“In what is further viewed by the campaign as a ‘sign of building momentum to beat Boebert,’ the Western Slope businessman raised $400,000 last week alone, following the release of the Keating poll that has Frisch and Boebert statistically tied in the race.”
